What it's made of, and how to care for it

Every Perlehaus piece states its material honestly — sterling silver, moissanite, stainless steel, titanium, or gold-tone fashion metal — so you always know what you're wearing.

  • The metals

    We carry genuine 925 sterling silver and stainless steel pieces alongside gold-tone and gold-plated fashion jewelry. Material is always stated on the individual product page.

  • The stones

    Moissanite and cubic zirconia pieces are lab-created; pearl pieces are noted as such. Stone type is named specifically on each listing, never left vague.

  • The construction

    Clasps, settings, and closures are chosen to hold up to daily wear — pieces are built to be worn often, not saved for special occasions.

  • The care

    Wipe with a soft, dry cloth after wearing. Avoid harsh chemicals, chlorine, lotion, and perfume, and store pieces separately to prevent scratching.

Material claims

Every listing states exactly what a piece is made of. Sterling silver and moissanite pieces are named specifically; gold-tone and fashion pieces are described as plated or fashion metal, not solid gold. We don't apply certification marks or claim a gemological certificate unless it's explicitly stated on the product page.
